You’ve scheduled your time, you’ve answered a few questions and you’ve paid your $5 bucks. Now it’s time for the rubber to meet the road. To get you ready for our call, here are some of the topics we can discuss:
Things we can discuss are brand management, what does your brand mean to your customer and have you used your brand to extend your product lines or service offerings?
Topics such as how do you target new and/or existing clients or customers. Do your prospects know all the products/services you offer or do you set revenue targets?
Customer satisfaction topics include things such as how do you detect problems customers may be having with your company or how do you assess customer satisfaction can be explored.
Corporate, brand or product identity
Do you promote your products more than you promote your own brand? Do you actively manage your brand, and if so, how? Has your brand been negatively impacted recently and what have you done to recover?
Planning is a big one, topics we can discuss; how does your company approach the planning cycle? is marketing planning included in this process, and if yes, is marketing planning seen as a seen as a positive management tool?
Do you know where your brand is positioned, do you have a clearly developed positioning strategy and does your customers clearly understand what you do and what your company stands for?
Who are your competitors? Do you know the capabilities and limitations of your marketers, and if so, what are they? Have you clearly defined the markets you want to develop or serve?
New product development
How do you develop new products or services? How many new services or products have you launched in the last 1-3-5 years?
On our call we can review anything you want, but these ideas are designed to be the inspiration to getting the juices flowing. Once we have our call, you will have a decision to make. You can:
- Choose to go out on your own and do the things we’ve talked about.
- Pick one of the two consulting packages I offer and build a kick-ass construction company.
- Do nothing.
